Anti-Slip Guide
To keep your rug safe and secure, follow these simple anti-slip tips:
1. Rug Pad / Underlay
Always use a non-slip rug pad under your rug.
It prevents sliding and also adds cushioning.
2. Double-Sided Carpet Tape
For small or lightweight rugs, use double-sided rug tape at the corners or edges.
Make sure the floor is clean before applying.
3. Furniture Anchoring
Place heavy furniture (sofa, table, bed) on top of part of the rug to keep it stable.
4. Non-Slip Backing
Choose rugs with a latex or rubber backing for extra grip, especially on smooth floors.
5. Floor Type Consideration
On wooden, marble, or tile floors, anti-slip pads are highly recommended.
On carpeted floors, place a thin non-slip underlay to prevent movement.
6. Regular Check
Re-adjust the rug pad or tape every few months to maintain grip and safety.
